10U - 14U Squirt/PeeWee/Bantam
The Wausau Youth Hockey program has a long history of providing competitive experiences for players. At each age division, teams are grouped by ability level with practices and games tailored to each group's ability level. While we strive to develop each player's skating and shooting ability, we also emphasize helping players grow individually and as a team. The success of our program speaks for itself.
Ages
Appropriate for players born from 2010 through 2015.
10U - Squirts (2014 & 2015)
12U - PeeWee (2012 & 2013)
14U - Bantam (2010 & 2011)
When
The regular season for Wausau Youth Hockey begins in October and finishes the beginning of March. Start and finish dates differentiate based on age level.
Where
Practices and homes games are held at Marathon County Park. Games are primarily played across the Central WI region.
Practices
Practices are held 3-4 days a week through a combination of individual team, age group, and dryland practices.
DIBS/VOLUNTEERING
All Families are required to complete their necessary volunteer hours. Please see the DIBS page under Resources for more information.
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS
Team from the levels of Squirt -Bantam are announced after tryouts are completed. Tryouts usually happen in the first month of the season.
